WISE Community Support Groups are facilitated in coordination with Alzheimer’s New Jersey. These meetings help caregivers of older adults with Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive impairments, and/or other functional challenges build a support network that addresses the unique impacts of caregiving. This includes personal care techniques, stress reduction, medication management, communication techniques, fall prevention, home safety, lifestyle changes, financial strains, and anticipated losses.
