Family Zumba Class
With its high energy and simple dance moves, Family Zumba is the perfect physical activity for parents and kids. Free for those with a YMCA Family Membership and their children. Stop by the Welcome Center desk to pick up your class card prior to class. Children must be accompanied by their parent.
Youth Strength Training - Five Points Branch
This eight week program, which is mandatory for youth ages 10 & 11 in order to use the fitness center at Tucker Avenue, teaches safe and effective exercise principles under the supervision of a certified trainer. In a small group setting, participants will learn proper use of strength and cardio machines, workout layouts, proper etiquette, nutrition basics and progression. After completion of this program, participants will have full usage of fitness center.
Get Fit Kids
This class is designed for youth to experience a group exercise class in a fun way! This is a full body workout that incorporates both cardiovascular exercise and light weight training.
Kids Yoga
Children’s yoga is a fun, creative, and relaxing class, which combines movement with the basic poses of yoga. We will work on balance, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. This class will introduce yoga terminology, poses and breath work.
Youth Personal Fitness Certification - Wellness Center Branch
Successful completion of this program will allow members 10 and 11 years of age to exercise alongside a parent/guardian at the Wellness Center Branch, (free weight area excluded). Participants will learn basic training principles, proper technique, workout etiquette, and nutrition fundamentals.
Youth Strength Champions - Elizabeth Branch
Youth Strength Champions is a program designed to teach youth members the basic principles of exercise, focusing on the proper usage of fitness equipment and safety. For your child to gain access to our Wellness Center, the child must complete two group classes to graduate from this program. Youth members ages 10 to 14 years old, must complete this program.
Move and Groove - Parent & Child Class
Children will participate in a weekly fun along with creative dancing and games. Parent participation encouraged.
Saturday Night Live! Family Night
Join us for a fun family fitness night. Bring the entire family for Zumba, Yoga, line dancing, and much more! Registration required.

Mommy & Me
Mommy & Me promotes bonding between you and your child while, at the same time, helping them develop cognitive, social and motor skills. This 8 week program includes the activities below and more.

Healthy Weight and Your Child
This is a 4 month family-based weight management program for children ages 7 – 13 with obesity. Both the parent and child are educated HWYC is designed with the entire family in mind. Both the child and parent learn the positive healthy eating and physical activity changes needed to live a healthier life. Each child must be in the 95th percentile of body mass index and receive clearance from a school nurse or healthcare provider. Sessions are twice a week for ten weeks and then weekly for five weeks.
