WINE & CHEESE INFORMATION
For those who picked up your Wine Kits earlier today, or will be picking up tomorrow, here’s some additional information:
1) What should you do with your Wine + Cheese Bundle when you get home?
Cheese: take your cheese out of the bag and store the cheese in your fridge.
Place Wines 1, 2, and 3 in the fridge — these wines should be in the fridge for a couple of hours – you ideally want them nice and chilled.
Wine 1: Aveleda Vinho Verde (white)
Wine 2: Borell Diehl Gewurtraminer (white)
Wine 3: de Perriere Rosé Brut (rosé)
Wine 4: Santa Chiara Barbera d’Asti (red)
Important: Take your cheese out of the fridge about 15 minutes prior to class. Cheese should be room-temp and not fridge-cold
2) Glassware
This is not mandatory, but you may want to have four separate wine glasses (one for each wine). You can use any glass (plastic works too) you have, but avoid drinking directly out of the bottle.
3) Have a white piece of paper (or paper towel handy) – this will help you assess the color of the wine.
4) Depending on how sophisticated you’d like to be, you can snack on your cheese directly out of the plastic or lay it out on a plate or board. We won’t judge you either way!
