Help Those in Need

Union County, December 2014 – Give what you CAN! The Gateway Family YMCA is collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries for those in need in our area this winter. Together with its’ members, volunteers, friends and partners throughout the community, the Y makes the community stronger by focusing on three priorities: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Jessica Samolewicz Promoted to Oversee Programs Association-Wide

The Gateway Family YMCA Announces School Age Child Care Promotion

November, 2014, Union County, NJ - The Gateway Family YMCA announces the promotion of Jessica Samolewicz to a position overseeing the school age child care and camp programs for the association. Jessica, currently the Branch Associate Executive Director at the Five Points Branch in Union, will provide strategic leadership and direction for the school age child care and summer camp programs at the Elizabeth, Five Points and Rahway branches of The Gateway Family YMCA.

Union County, November 2014 – Military Family Month provides all Americans the opportunity to recognize the dedication, sacrifice and service of military personnel and their families. The Gateway Family YMCA recognizes military families this November, and all year round, by bringing families together to have fun, grow, strengthen their relationships and build connections with other families waiting at home.
