FAMILY FUN AND FITNESS DAY

On September 29th, The Gateway Family YMCA branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union will celebrate a family-friendly wellness event, Family Fun & Fitness Day. Y Branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union will be hosting events that are open to the community including free family group exercise programs, healthy snacks, nutrition and fitness games, community vendors and games. Family Fun & Fitness Day is designed with activities to engage both children and their parents, and is open to all ages.

UNION MAYOR'S DAY 5K

The Gateway Family YMCA is proud to support the efforts of the Union Township NJ Chamber of Commerce at this year's Union Township Mayor's Day 5K Run/Walk and YMCA Kids Run Challenge! Get those sneakers ready! Celebrate community, support an incredible cause, and get ready for a fantastic day!

The Gateway Family YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, health and community service organization of caring staff and volunteers who are dedicated to providing quality services to people of all ages, races, abilities, faiths or incomes.

The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community.
FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT – Nurturing the potential of every child and teen through child care, afterschool child care, day camp, sports, arts, learn to swim, teen and health and well-being classes.
FOR HEALTHY LIVING – Improving the nation’s health and well-being with programs and membership for youth, teens, adults, seniors and families. Programs include: yoga, zumba, volleyball, basketball, tae kwon do, arthritis, dance, health assessments, personal training, diabetes prevention, swimming and adult and child learn to swim.
FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – Giving back and providing support for our neighbors. The Y has supportive housing for individuals and families, Adult Day Care, Financial Assistance along with community engagement.
